About the Event

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group and supported by Women In Aviation (Middle East Chapter), the Women in Aviation General Assembly is the annual meeting place for international aviation leaders, female industry role models and hundreds of college and university students looking to join the aviation industry.

As a young and rapidly growing aviation economy, the Middle East is committed to ensuring equal opportunities are provided to women in the sector. The Women in Aviation General Assembly plays a powerful role in bringing the industry together to discuss the challenges and how to overcome them. Featuring a stellar line-up of inspiring speakers, the conference is supported by leading global aviation companies keen to highlight their commitment to improving diversity in the aviation industry.

Our 2019 event will host over 400 attendees – including global aviation and inclusion leaders; key female officials and senior managers working in aviation, aerospace and space across the Middle East and Africa; top female students at regional aviation and engineering colleges and HR managers at aviation businesses and government entities across the Middle East.

Women in Aviation Middle East continues to play a pioneering role in bringing the global aviation industry together to discuss how we can empower women and create greater job opportunities for them in the aviation sector, while creating an essential local workforce that will lead future aviation growth in the region.
